Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Simply enter your gender, birth date, general health level, tobacco status, preferred coverage amount and term length to receive quotes from multiple carriers. We only request personal contact information if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The displayed rates represent what each carrier is quoting for the health classification you specified. The carrier will determine your actual final premium after their underwriting evaluation, which may move you to a better, equivalent, or less favorable health classification. Nothing displayed here constitutes insurance coverage or a pricing promise.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your name populates the application form using the quote you selected, then you move to the carriers' application portal for completion. You maintain the flexibility to pause and pick up where you left off, with electronic signatures handling all documentation. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) manages the application on behalf of the licensed carriers.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the specific carrier, coverage amount and your disclosed health information. Certain carriers with accelerated approval programs can issue policies quickly for qualified applicants, while others may require underwriting exams. Every rate quote details whether exams are mandatory, possible, or unnecessary for that carrier.
Is a longer term better?
A coverage period should align with your family's protection window: the mortgage years, the early childhood years, or your working years until retirement. While longer-term policies cost more each month, they lock in your current rate for that extended period. The comparison tool lets you evaluate 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options side-by-side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting service doesn't retain your personal details, we never monetize or distribute applicant information, and our traffic tracking uses no cookies or persistent identifiers. For complete transparency, review our privacy page which specifies what gets collected and by whom.
